Dr. Richard Stegen is experienced in diagnosing and treating whatever it is that stands between you and clear comfortable vision. He is able to patiently explain to you the results of your eye exam and discuss your best options for treatment. Our Story

North Country Eye Care offers complete routine and medical family eye care. Dr. Stegen began seeing patients in the Upper Valley in 1992. He started as a part of Pro Optical in West Lebanon. In 2011, Dr. Stegen acquired the eye care portion of Pro Optical, forming North Country Eye Care Associates. In 2018, in order to expand facilities and offer expanded services and a full-service optical shop, North Country Eye Care moved across Rt. 12A to the Benning Street (Shaw’s) Plaza. Dr. Stegen and Dr. Eid (formerly Robinson) are residency-trained eye doctors accepting new patients. Scott Thielen and Graidi Ainsworth, our expert, Board Certified opticians, provide top-quality eyewear and care for our patients and for anyone who seeks the best optical products and excellent, friendly service.
