November 17 marks World Prematurity Day, a global effort to shine a light on preterm birth and the families affected by it. Together, we can support awareness, research, and compassionate care for our smallest warriors. 💜

🗣️ Take Care of Your Voice: It’s the Only One You’ve Got!
Your voice helps you connect, express, and be heard 💬 — so treat it with care!
🎤 Voice Care Tips:
Stay hydrated, drink plenty of water daily 💧
Avoid yelling or whispering; both can strain your vocal cords
Take vocal breaks if you speak or sing for long periods
Don’t smoke, it irritates and dries out your vocal folds 🚭
Maintain good posture and breath support
Manage reflux and allergies, which can cause throat irritation
If hoarseness lasts more than 2 weeks, see an ENT or SLP

We offer evaluation and therapy services for voice, speech, language, and communication needs — all provided by graduate student clinicians under licensed supervision.
