🎯Make Your Mark Monday🎯

In honor of Memorial Day I decided to postpone my Make Your Mark Monday post to make sure the focus of the day was on those we’ve lost. I had a great time at Radiance Recovery leading their ladies with their vision boards. I loved being able to Make My Mark with them and focus on the new Mark they want to leave behind. I wish these ladies the best!

🎯Make your Mark Monday🎯

This past week I was able to make my Mark at both of the Faithful Recovery facilities in Morehead and Flemingsburg. Thank you to the staff at Faithful Recovery for allowing me to come and share my story along with making some vision boards with the guys. Both groups were amazing and I was blessed to make an impact on them.

🎯Make Your Mark Monday🎯

Tune in and keep an eye out for a familiar face on WKYT’s Commonwealth of Kindness segment this week! It was such an amazing opportunity to be able to share about Don’t Miss the Mark on a new station that I grew up watching. Thank you Destiny Quinn for coming and interviewing me along with some of the staff and clients of New Vision Recovery and a big thank you to Carla Kersey for helping me Make my Mark. While I was at New Vision I was able to meet some new clients and make visions with them. I can’t thank New Vision enough for always supporting me and welcoming me into their facility. I was very surprised and overwhelmed with emotion for their $1,000 donation to Don’t Miss the Mark to buy supplies for more vision boards. I can’t thank everyone enough for all the love and support!

🎯Make Your Mark Monday🎯

Thanks to Julie Stephens with Kentucky Rural Healthcare Information Organization, I was able to speak at Rowan County High School about Don’t Miss the Mark and inspire youth my age to work hard to avoid leaving the Mark of addiction. It was incredible to speak with others about the Mark that has been left on them and how they plan on creating their own Mark. I am so proud of the students of Rowan County proving that my generation can break the cycle of addiction in their families and make a difference.

🎯Make Your Mark Monday🎯

I was able to visit New Vision Recovery Center to share the message of the Mark and help the guys out with making some vision boards! I always love working with New Vision and seeing the change they are creating in my community. It was great to meet the guys and help them goal set for the Mark they want to create in the future. I can’t wait to see them continue to make their Mark!

♥️National Wear Your Red Day!♥️

Today I went red for all the women who’s heart health has been affected by their addiction. While talking to those active in their recovery and working together to make vision boards a common goal I see is improving their overall health and focusing on physical fitness. Although a Mark has been left on their heart they are excited and willing to put in the work to make change and try to leave a healthy Mark on their body. Powerful testimonies and personal stories about others’ recovery journeys to improve their health can be represented simply by wearing a red shirt. Make your own physical Mark and choose to prioritize your health.
