These residents are partaking in our new activity at Tanner Spring of learning Knitting, crocheting and Embroidery. It's a new activity that's been added to our calendar on Thursdays as the weather gets colder.

It's just started so we can't wait to see it grow. We have more residents excited to join. So next Thursday at 11am, bring your yarn/thread and join us!

Thank you Mitchell and Kelli with Signature Hospice for doing a hoyer training with our staff at our monthly staff meeting. Thank you for our Caregiver, Liam and Med Tech Angel for volunteering to practicing proper hoyer lifting.

Tanner Spring ensures our employees are adequately trained. Before our employees hit the floor, they have several hours of online training as well as hands on training with our top Caregivers or Med Techs. Our employees do monthly online training as well as training at our staffing meetings.

Today's bus adventures took us to Yesteryear Farms to the pumpkin patch.

It's a great place to buy pumpkins, Halloween decor, yummy treats and of course...great photo opportunities.

B.I.N.G.O!

Everything Monday and Wednesday at 3:30pm we love playing bingo here at Tanner Spring.

Yesterday we had a couple of new faces! It's always nice to get new residents joining our bingo games. If you would like to join, it's $.50 a board! Memory Care also does bingo that is free with winnings of sweet and salty treats on Sundays.

Today's Craft Club made "Back To School Chalkboard Door Hangers" in honor of discussing back-to-school month.

This GeriActive activity utilizes skills like mirroring, following instructions, reading, contrast indenfication and fine motor skills. With our group, we use the skill of laughter on top of it as you can see with Vicki.

Thank you Sally Harmon for another great performance at our weekly happy hour.

Every Friday at Tanner Spring, we end the week with Happy Hour at 3:30pm with refreshments and wonderful musical performances like Sally.

Even during our remodel, we have still been able to continue our happy hour. During good weather, we've been having it out in our beautiful garden. With Fall here, if the weather isn't so nice, we will continue the happy hour in our Chapel.

Today's garden club made book marks and window clings with dried flowers and leaves to hold on to our beautiful garden we have built here at Tanner Spring.

Garden club doesn't always have to involve our residents working in our garden. Our residents do different horticulture projects.

Today's bus adventure took us to Woodburn, Oregon to the Woodburn Historical Museum & Friends of the Bungalow Theater . Thank you Jennifer for being so welcoming and giving us a private tour. We also got a special invite from the owner of Trapala Restaurant LLC to come and join them for lunch. So another bus adventure in the works!

Looks like a great day for an outing!
