📣 Also exciting news for 2026, our Activity Assistant/CNA Susan is beginning an exciting new journey! She is starting nursing school to become a Registered Nurse! To support her school schedule, Susan has transitioned from the Activities Department to the Nursing Department. While she will be greatly missed in Activities, she has been a true asset and blessing to our team, and we wish her continued success as she takes this next step in her nursing career. 🩺🎓

🍞✨ Shake, Bake & Bible Study Resident-Led Activity! Our residents truly enjoyed this activity as they baked delicious Spanish cheese bread rolls while reflecting on the meaning of Christmas and the birth of Jesus. 🎄✝️ This time was led by our longtime resident, Mrs. Brenda, whose faith and servant’s heart shine so brightly.

Mrs. Brenda leads a weekly Bible study called “Inspirational Moments with Brenda,” offering one-on-one room visits that include reading scripture, praying, and uplifting residents who request prayer. She also prays daily for our staff here at WMHR, a gift we are so grateful for. 💙🙏

Her favorite saying says it all: “The Lord has me here to serve, and I’m going to do what He has for me to do.”
