At Diabetes Care & Wellness, we provide specialized diabetes and wellness management.

We had another great year in 2025 at Diabetes Care and Wellness.🎉

We have celebrated with our patients on their successes! We have gained new patients and new referrals. We can’t thank our patients and referral sources enough!

We poured in the community with food drives, free screenings, health seminars, wellness panels, and career fairs, etc.

We partnered with Samaria Garrett, RDN with Feeding The Root to provide nutrition therapy and support. We also incorporated clinical research into our practice!

Our provider, NP Sellers, received numerous awards, including the American Association for Nurse Practitioners’ State Award for Outstanding Contributions. She also received a proclamation from the Crittenden County Quorum Court. She became an international voice in diabetes with SDG-3 global health initiative that reached several countries in Africa!

Happy New Year!🎊 2026- we can’t wait to see what’s in store for DCW!

In November, we highlighted a few of our patients to celebrate their accomplishments and to encourage others living with diabetes!

We celebrated TIRs of 99%, A1C decreasing by 5-8% (14.6 to 6.5)& A1C < 6.5% for years, etc.

We know diabetes isn’t just all about numbers. We also celebrated lifestyle modifications and commitments! One of patients decreased their daily soda intake by 1/2 and started a smoking cessation plan while maintaining a TIR of 91%.

We are so grateful for our patients who have followed NP Sellers over the years.

Ms. AC is another one of our patients that followed Sellers from TN to AR!
Her A1C has been < 6.5% for the last few years!

Let’s celebrate Ms. RM!
Diabetes isn’t just about numbers! We need to also celebrate healthy changes or improvements with health!

Ms. RM has had some major lifestyle changes while maintaining 89-91% TIR!
She is no longer on insulin therapy. She has decreased her soda intake and started a plan for smoking cessation!

A1C 6.2 with 91% TIR💪

Today is World Diabetes Day!! 💙

We couldn’t have had a better time celebrating World Diabetes Day today at West Junior High!

The CGMs, insulin pumps, and food demos were a hit with the students. I am proud to be able to discuss my career and what all we do in the field of diabetes! We were also able to discuss the need for Type1 screening with the students and staff! 🧬
