We talk a lot about opioids, but much less about other medications including benzodiazepines like Klonopin, Xanax ,and Va**um đź’Š. They are commonly prescribed for anxiety, insomnia, seizures, alcohol withdrawal, and muscle spasms, all of which also have the potential to be treated with medical cannabis. If you are currently taking a benzodiazepine and are looking to come off of them, please consult with your doctor before taking any further steps. Research is just beginning on using cannabis as a possible alternative to benzodiazepine use. Do you think Cannabis could be used to reduce prescriptions?
