We were so grateful to have My CommuniCares come speak with our clients yesterday and share more about the incredible resources they have to offer our community.

Having organizations willing to show up, connect face-to-face, and invest their time in educating and supporting our clients makes such a meaningful difference. ✨ A Sober-Friendly Mardi Gras Experience ✨

Looking for a safe, welcoming space to enjoy Mardi Gras without the chaos, pressure, or triggers that can come with large crowds?

Arise Counseling & Wellness is hosting a Recovery-Friendly Mardi Gras Gathering in our parking lot on Saturday, February 7 — a space created with intention, connection, and support in mind.

🎭 Two parade times, one safe space:
• Parade #1: 3:00 PM
• Parade #2: 6:00 PM
• Join us starting at 2:30 PM

💜 This event is for anyone in recovery, supporting someone in recovery, or simply looking for a calmer, safer way to enjoy Mardi Gras.

I am honestly blown away by the number of people we were able to help — and by the level of growth, healing, and success we have witnessed at ARISE Counseling & Wellness. Every single day, I find myself in awe of what has been built and created here in such a short amount of time.

We were only open six months last year — and the impact we were able to make in that time speaks volumes. The lives changed, the breakthroughs achieved, and the community formed have exceeded anything I could have imagined. I cannot wait to see what is possible with a full year ahead of us in 2026.

It is my continued commitment to provide excellent, ethical, and compassionate care to every client we serve. Our work is intentional, our mission is clear, and our focus remains on meeting people where they are and walking alongside them as they heal.

I am deeply grateful for every client who trusted us with their story and every staff member who shows up daily with heart, professionalism, and dedication. Together, we are not just providing services — we are building a community rooted in accountability, support, and hope.

This week counselor Shea had clients step into a mindset-to-movement vision board session—where thoughts turned into plans and plans turned into purpose. The group kicked off by letting go of what no longer serves them from the past year, then shifted into dreaming, defining, and designing what they want more of in the year ahead.

With music playing and creativity flowing, clients translated their goals and intentions into visual blueprints they can carry forward—reminders of who they’re becoming and what they’re working toward. It wasn’t just about vision boards; it was about claiming direction, confidence, and momentum.

Taylor led a fun, inventive vision board group that brought creativity and intention together in the best way. Clients reflected on the past year, laughed, shared insights, and then shifted gears to dream big—setting bold goals and meaningful intentions for the year ahead.

From cutting and collaging to visualizing and planning, clients transformed their goals into powerful visual roadmaps—something they can look back on when motivation dips or clarity is needed. The room was filled with energy, creativity, and hope as intentions turned into action-ready visions.

Our counselor Christian led clients in a powerful vision board–themed group session focused on reflection, intention, and growth. Clients were guided through an open discussion reflecting on the past year—acknowledging lessons learned, progress made, and challenges overcome.

Together, they set clear goals and intentions for the new year, then transformed those goals into visual representations through their vision boards. This creative process allowed clients to turn intention into action—creating a tangible reminder of where they’re headed and the steps they’re committed to taking.

We are overjoyed to share a very special Christmas blessing with our ARISE family — our new ARISE Transit Van! 🎁✨This incredible addition allows us to safely and reliably transport our clients to treatment, appointments, meetings, groups, work opportunities, and recovery-support services, removing one more barrier on their journey to healing. Transportation changes lives, and this van represents access, stability, dignity, and hope.

We are beyond grateful for the growth we’ve experienced this year and for the opportunity to continue serving our clients with excellence, compassion, and care. Every mile driven in this van will carry stories of transformation, resilience, and second chances.

Today we honor Sierra and the incredible work she has done to reach this moment. Graduation from IOP is more than a milestone—it is evidence of courage in motion, healing in progress, and a heart that chose growth even when it was uncomfortable.

Sierra, you allowed yourself to be seen, to be honest, and to sit with the hard truths that lead to real change. You showed strength through vulnerability and commitment through consistency. That kind of work creates a foundation that lasts.
