We recently wrapped up some engaging days at the National Perinatal Association Annual Conference, where we connected with passionate neonatal and perinatal leaders from across the country.

The conference theme, Uniting for Impact: Advancing Rural-Urban Collaboration and Innovation in Perinatal and Infant Health, provided a critical opportunity to discuss how collective action can advance health equity.

One way we are putting this into practice is by rethinking how we deliver information to families. Solutions like our NICU2Home leverage the EHR to improve staff efficiency and automatically deliver educational content, promoting more equitable care by ensuring every family receives the right information at the right time in their preferred language.

Thank you to NPA for creating space for these important conversations.

We are so moved by this look inside the NICU at St. Luke's Health-The Woodlands Hospital.

Leaving your baby in the NICU is an emotional journey, and we are honored to provide the technology that helps bridge that distance.

This video truly highlights how the St. Luke’s Health team keeps families connected – near and far – while giving their care team a powerful tool to foster communication and family engagement.

Empowering NICU Families Through Health Literacy!

Our own Samantha Sobie, DNP, APRN, NNP-BC, NICU2Home Clinical Specialist, recently sat down with Helen Osborne on the Health Literacy Out Loud podcast to discuss "Neonatal Teachings: Health Literacy Lessons for All."

In the episode, Samantha highlights the importance of meeting parents where they are, especially when they are feeling overwhelmed or traumatized, to ensure they leave the NICU feeling confident and prepared.

She shares how a framework traditionally used for medication safety can be adapted into a powerful tool for parent education: right education, right dose, right patient, right route and right time.

Our partners say it best!

We recently wrapped up an incredible MilkTracker go-live at ECU Health Maynard Children's Hospital.

Allyson Yelverton, Director of Neonatal Services, shared:
"Partnering with the AngelEye team for the implementation of MilkTracker was an outstanding experience. Their professionalism boosted confidence among our staff and helped us build a workflow that is both effective and sustainable. This implementation reflects a strong partnership and a shared commitment to quality, safety, and excellence in patient care.”

Their NICU team's energy and commitment to converting to our technology were truly inspiring. This milestone comes just a few months after ECU Health Maynard's successful CameraSystem go-live last fall.

We applaud your unwavering dedication to family-centered care, and we are so proud to support your mission.

ICYMI: What does the NICU of the future look like?

The Canadian Premature Babies Foundation recently sat down with AngelEye's Jaylee Hilliard, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, CPXP, for a live Preemie Chat.

Drawing from her unique perspective as both a neonatal nurse and a two-time NICU mom, Jaylee dives into how smarter, high-tech systems can actually lead to more human care.

Watch the full conversation and learn how we're shaping the NICU of the future to help reduce clinician burnout and empower families with connected care. https://www.angeleye.social/m/CojAH9y8fw

Happy Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day!

From all of us at AngelEye Health, we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the incredible work of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs)—especially those dedicated to the tiniest and most vulnerable patients in the NICU.

Your expertise ensures that premature and medically fragile infants receive the essential nutrition they need to grow and thrive. Your dedication makes a lasting impact on families and the future of these little fighters.

ICYMI: Catch up on our Vlog where AngelEye Registered Dietitians sat down to discuss the unique challenges NICU families face—and how technology can help bridge the gap to better support mothers and care teams. https://www.angeleye.social/m/VW9J2qXI0N

It’s no coincidence that AngelEye Health is used in six of the top ten NICUs in the 2025 U.S. News & World Report rankings.

We are incredibly proud of our hospital partners who are constantly pushing the standard of neonatal care forward in pursuit of excellence for their patients and families.

We know for NICU teams, it’s not just about rankings. It’s about delivering high-quality, cutting-edge care with compassion.

The U.S. News Neonatology Survey (Section F) has raised the bar. It no longer asks whether a policy exists; it asks whether you have measurable data to prove it’s working.

For a deeper look, AngelEye’s Jaylee Hilliard, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, CPXP, and Lisa Davenport, DNP, RN, RNC-NIC, have authored a new white paper outlining how AngelEye solutions align with the U.S. News Neonatal Care Survey (Section F) criteria.

It's another exciting go-live for the AngelEye MilkTracker team!

We were proud to be on-site at one of the largest and top-ranked children’s hospitals in the Southeast to support the launch of their MilkTracker feeding management solution.

Together, we're impacting outcomes with feeding that's intelligent, intuitive, and deeply connected to clinical workflows and family-centered care.

We’re thrilled to partner with this exceptional team and look forward to the impact we’ll make together.

The National Association of Neonatal Nurses (NANN) deserves recognition for its recent revision of Position Statement #3065, The Use of Human Milk and Breastfeeding in the NICU.

By reaffirming human milk and breastfeeding as a lifesaving medical intervention, NANN provides a clear clinical and ethical mandate and elevates neonatal nursing as a central driver of evidence-based lactation support and safe milk management.

NANN calls for a high-impact standard of care involving:
• Proactive supply protection in the early postpartum window.
• High-reliability milk handling and standardized oral care.
• Equitable support that meets families where they are.

We applaud NANN for the updated position statement.

NANN’s leadership helps align teams around shared expectations and measurable practices that protect outcomes, reduce preventable harm, and strengthen family-centered care.

While hospitals have invested heavily in EHRs for documentation, most weren't designed to handle the complex, high-risk workflow of neonatal feeding.

In a new article for HIT Consultant, our clinical experts, Olivia McCracken Jones, BSN, RN, and Jakayla Maher, BSN, RN, RNC-NIC, dive into "The Silent Risk in the NICU: Why Your EHR Can’t Protect Infant Feeding."

The article explores:
• Beyond the Bedside: Safety starts at collection and preparation, not just administration.
• The Cognitive Burden: Manual documentation and handwritten labels increase the chance of human error.
• Avoidable Stress: Feeding errors can undermine confidence in the care team and cause significant emotional stress.
