There are moments in this work where you truly find out who believes in the mission… and who is willing to step up when things get hard.

Today, I just want to publicly say THANK YOU to Ms. Ada, Kyle, and Diaz for stepping in and VOLUNTEERING their time to make sure our programs (Pen & Pad, and Equine) were ran smoothly tonight.
That kind of support cannot be taught; it comes from people who genuinely care about the community and the lives connected to this work.

Because of people like them, young people still had someone show up for them. Conversations still happened. Hearts were still reached. Programs still moved forward. THAT matters.

I also want to give a special thank you to Ms. Endi for returning back to work and immediately putting her foot on the gas, making connections, warming hearts, and doing what she naturally does best. She left before we took this picture, but her impact was still felt in every room she walked into today.

This work is not built on one person. It takes COMMUNITY.
People willing to stand in the gap.
People willing to serve.
People willing to love others through action.

Thank you all for reminding me that even during "shifting" seasons, there are still good people willing to help carry the mission of More Graduations and Less Funerals.

MGLF is not just a slogan… it’s a lifestyle. ❤️

Good evening GVI Family and Friends

💙 This is how we come together. 💙

In moments of joy and in moments of loss, our community shows up. The work we do is not easy, but it is necessary. If we truly want more graduations and less funerals, we must move together, learn together, and stand together.

Our 2026 GVI Community Trainings are now open. These trainings are about prevention, accountability, healing, and unity. They are about choosing people, choosing growth, and choosing hope.

The only way we win is together. And if we ever lose, I would rather lose alongside people whose intentions are always to win, for our youth, for our families, and for our community.

Good evening GVI Family and Friends

On Friday, May 1st, our team was notified of a homicide.
Following the investigation conducted by York City detectives, it was shared with us that Nidair Collier lost his life to gun violence.

While this tragedy is NOT group-related, it is still an act of violence that has deeply impacted our community and taken the life of a young man far too soon.

We ask that you take a moment to lift his family, friends, and especially his children up in prayer. From the many posts we have seen, it is clear that Nidair was loved, appreciated, and valued, and his life mattered.

Our hearts are with all who are grieving during this incredibly difficult time.

Congratulations to THREE individuals who just received MGLF scholarships!

This is what it looks like when opportunity meets preparation.
When someone says “yes” to doing better and our team says “we got you”.

We’re not just talking about change..we’re INVESTING in it.

Keep going. This is only the beginning.
