Tuesday I had great help from my Grandson from North Carolina and we wrapped the 6 small hives that we are over wintering here in NW IA. Just in time for this little cold snap.

After spending a few days grading hives with Boernsen Bees Honey The Hives were loaded on to a semi to head to California to pollinate the Almond Trees. The bees will be back in late March. Okobobee Honey is thankful to be able to send 25 hives on the semi. Which holds over 400. Thank you Bees Honey for letting us tag along on this adventure!

Harvest is Finished!...we'll not all cleaned up yet.. Video of the last honey coming out of the extractor. Of course I am jamming to my 80's music while I work.
