Dear 2025,

Thank you for teaching me that progress isn’t always exciting—sometimes it’s simply consistent.
You showed me that discipline is self-respect in action and that showing up matters more than motivation.

Some days felt heavy. Some goals felt far away.
But I kept choosing forward—quietly, faithfully, and with purpose.

This year strengthened my faith, reminded me of what I’m capable of, and blessed me with the joy of being engaged to my best friend 🤍💍

Stepping into 2026 choosing momentum over perfection, clarity over chaos, and action aligned with intention.

Thank you, 2025. ✨🙏🏼

✨ A Journey Back to Normalcy, Rooted in Faith ✨

My journey toward reclaiming a balanced and “normal” lifestyle has been shaped by strength, diligence, passion, and a faith deeply centered on God. Through this season, God has blessed and reshaped my mind, body, and spirit, giving me a completely different sense of balance—one that allows me to navigate life with deeper purpose, wisdom, and grace.

At the beginning of this year, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. What started with a mammogram on February 5, 2025 led to my diagnosis on March 5, 2025. From that moment, my body, mind, and heart were overwhelmed—emotionally and physically—as I prepared to face one of the hardest chapters of my life.

I endured four months of chemotherapy to shrink the tumor—treatments that brought pain, exhaustion, and countless challenges every three weeks. After completing chemo, I faced back-to-back surgeries. On July 31, 2025, I underwent a lumpectomy, followed by a brief month that allowed me to return to work and feel a sense of normalcy again.

On October 30, 2025, I faced another major milestone—a bilateral double mastectomy. My body endured another season of pain, recovery, and healing. Yet by God’s grace, I returned to work on December 1, 2025, stepping once again into life with renewed strength and hope.

Through it all, God remained faithful. As I stayed aligned with Him, He continued to bless me beyond what I imagined. I am deeply grateful to be spending Christmas with my family and my future in-laws, trusting that God is preparing me for the next beautiful chapter of my life.

📖 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
📖 “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me.” — Psalm 28:7

✨ To God be all the glory. ✨

Sunday, December 14, 2027 was filled with pure magic as I returned to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA — a place so deeply meaningful to my heart. Celebrating my parents’ 36th wedding anniversary in the same place where my best friend proposed to me on April 26 of this year made the moment even more special.

So many milestones unfolding within one beautiful chapter of life. Above all, I am profoundly grateful to God for the gift of time, healing, and the chance to live life more fully — healthier, stronger, and more present than ever before.

This season feels like growth, maturity, and grace. I’ve given myself the space to evolve, gain wisdom, and overcome the many challenges that have shaped who I am today. Though I’m still navigating this journey and the rest of my story is still being written, I move forward with faith, gratitude, and hope.

“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.”
— Psalm 126:3

Last Saturday Dump — Closing Out the Last Weekend of November 29, 2025 ✨

Saturday early afternoon was well-spent having lunch with friends from the BLD Singles Ministry as we gathered to pray over and send off Danah before her pilgrimage with God in Italy. Such a blessed time filled with good food and even better company. 🤍

After lunch, I headed home before 3:00 PM to help bring my brother to the airport with my family as he returned to London. Already missing you, but I’ll see you at the end of March next year! Safe travels. ✈️💙

Thursday evening was spent surrounded by family for Thanksgiving. Before celebrating with my own family, I also had the sweetest Thanksgiving with my future in-laws. I didn’t capture many photos, but honestly, being truly present with the people I love mattered so much more.

Here’s a little highlight of that delicious meal — but above all, I’m grateful to God for giving me a second chance at life, for His endless guidance, and for His unwavering love that carries me every day.

Wednesday vibes were the perfect moment to get lost in the city like a local tourist—dressed in my casual city-chic style, all things pink. 💗

Pink has become more than just a color for me. It’s a statement of strength… a reminder that I fought hard, overcame, and that I am a survivor. It’s a part of my story—one that’s still being written. My journey isn’t over, and I’m thriving with every step I take.

I also got to enjoy an early showing of Wicked with my brother and my cousin Bernice—such a sweet way to spend time together and make memories in the middle of the week. 🎭✨

Days like this remind me how I’m navigating everything behind the scenes, finding little ways to breathe, enjoy, and live life in full circle. And I want more of these moments—simple, joyful, and intentional. 🌸✨

“Breast cancer changed me. It reshaped my heart, my strength, and the way I see life — yet it made me more beautiful, stronger, and more powerful.”

Eight months ago, my world shifted with a diagnosis I never expected. I was overwhelmed, confused, and unsure of what came next. But God surrounded me with support — my family, my colleagues, my fiancé 💍🙏🏼🤍 and his family, who gave me even more strength to keep fighting.

By God’s grace, today I can say: I am a breast cancer survivor.

As I continue healing, I’ll be sharing more resources from my journey — my double mastectomy, lumpectomy, chemo treatments, and aftercare (including JP drains) — in hopes that my experience brings someone else clarity, hope, and courage.

If you are on this journey, please know: you are not alone. And please take care of yourself — get your yearly screenings. Early detection saves lives.

Your story isn’t over. Your strength is rising.

✨ In my Engaged Era, my heart overflows with love and gratitude. Feeling radiant from within, reminded that true beauty shines when love is rooted in faith. 💖

God’s timing is always perfect — He brought us together to grow, to love, and to walk this journey hand in hand. Feeling beyond blessed for all the wonderful people who made this season so memorable and filled with joy. 💍🙏

Psalm 23:6
“Surely Your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

This past Friday evening spoke deeply to my heart — a moment of transformation and realization of how God continues to call me to serve His people and share His love and wisdom.

I am so grateful for the honor of leading worship this past Friday with my Shepherd and sister in Christ, Danah. Together, we lifted our voices in praise, guided by the Holy Spirit, and I could truly feel God’s presence moving through every word, every song, and every prayer.

In the quiet days that followed, I took time to pray and reflect on how God has never left my side. He has walked with me through every challenge, every moment of pain, and every season of growth.

Each obstacle became a lesson of strength, and in His love, I found peace. In His presence, I discovered stillness. In His calling, I found purpose.

I am forever grateful for His goodness and mercy that have followed me all the days of my life. Every blessing, every breath, and every opportunity to serve comes from Him. I thank the Lord each waking moment for calling me to serve — it’s an honor that fills my heart with deep gratitude and overflowing love. 🙏💖

Welcome September 🍁🍂

Fall season is finally here—a new season and a fresh beginning. This is the time to seize the moment before the chapters of 2025 come to a close.

This year has taken me on a full 360° journey. It has pushed me to grow bolder and more mature, teaching me to embrace challenges—even the unpredictable ones—and reminding me that adapting is always possible. I’ve learned the importance of pausing to catch my breath, giving myself grace, and never putting myself on the back burner.

Change isn’t always easy, but it’s necessary. My wish for this month is to continue embracing new things with an open heart, ready for transformation. And I want to ask you: What are you choosing to do for yourself this month?

Remember—you only get one shot at life. Make it worthwhile. Try something new, whether it’s food, a hobby, or simply a new perspective. Above all, enjoy life to its fullest. 🌟
