What if you could see what’s happening in the brain during addiction, anxiety, or trauma and then train it toward recovery?

On the latest episode of The Hanley Effect, Hanley Center’s Chief Clinical Officer, Dr. Angelo Asheh, M.D., and neuropsychologist Dr. Yianoula Alexakis, Psy.D., explain how neuropsych testing, QEEG “brain mapping,” and neurofeedback give clinicians objective data to personalize care, and give patients measurable hope.

In this episode, we discuss:
• How brain–behavior assessment clarifies what’s really driving symptoms
• What QEEG shows about sleep, anxiety, attention, and mood networks
• Why treating both substance use and underlying mental health is essential
• Neuroplasticity: the brain’s capacity to change

🎉🐾 We celebrated a special birthday here at Hanley Center, our therapy dog, Mac! He made his rounds, greeted his friends, posed for photos, and soaked up enough attention to last him until…probably tomorrow.

We’re truly grateful to Medical Services for making sure Mac felt loved, celebrated, and like the VIP (Very Important Pup) he is. 💙🐾
