“Someday” is often a coping strategy, not a plan.
It’s the promise we make to ourselves so we can keep pushing through what feels unsustainable right now. Once this settles. Once this ends. Once I get through the next thing.
But life doesn’t actually pause long enough for someday to arrive. What changes isn’t the pace — it’s whether you give yourself permission to live while things are still unfinished. Relief doesn’t come from reaching a destination. It comes from learning how to be present inside the process.
