As a therapist, I hold space for others every day—but I also have to remind myself that I’m human too. I need rest, reflection, and moments of quiet to refill my own cup.
Mental health isn’t just something we “talk about in session.” It’s something we practice in the way we breathe, pause, and notice the beauty right in front of us.

When we hold tightly to how things “should” be, we set ourselves up for disappointment when reality doesn’t match.
Instead of clinging to expectations, try shifting to intentions or preferences—ways of moving forward without attaching to the outcome.
