We are proud to welcome Phool Iqbal, MD, to our team of hospitalists at Ozarks Healthcare! 🩺

Dr. Iqbal brings more than a decade of international clinical experience, with training in internal medicine at New York Medical College/Metropolitan Hospital Center and work across multiple countries and healthcare systems. With over 70 research publications and a passion for lifelong learning, he is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients during their hospital stay. 💚

Outside of medicine, Dr. Iqbal enjoys traveling, hiking, calisthenics, and coin collecting.

Growing up in a small town in southeast Missouri, Dr. Lane saw firsthand the need for more healthcare providers in rural communities. That experience shaped his dream: to one day return to a community like the one he was raised in and provide the kind of specialized care that can change lives.

Dr. Lane brings extensive training, clinical experience, and a passion for advancing dermatologic care to our community. Ozarks Healthcare is a system of care encompassing a 114-bed acute care hospital, family medicine and specialty clinics, along with complete rehabilitation and home care services. We are a not-for-profit medical referral center with over 1,300 employees, serving an eight-county area in south-central Missouri and north-central Arkansas.

We are neighbors caring for neighbors, providing a continuum of care, and a breadth of services second to none in the region. Interventional cardiac care, open-heart surgery, oncology, neurosurgery, and cancer treatment are just a few of the high-tech services we offer so that patients can stay close to home while receiving the care they need.
