Hot Yoga West Reading Our Hot Yoga studio is the first and only of it's kind in Reading, Pa and Berks County. Bikram Yoga West Reading was kind of like an unplanned pregnancy.

One day the vision of the studio spread goosebumps all over me and nine months later the doors were open. I watched this happen as though it was a movie. Everything fell into place and people showed up. It was never "me" doing it and "I" never made a decision, although I feel so joyous to be a part of it all. The studio belongs to everyone who walks through the doors and makes this community a reality! - Marnie

As Bikram Choudhury says...you're "Never too old, never too sick, never too late to do yoga and start from scratch once again." Bikram Yoga is a series of 26 postures and 2 breathing excercises done in a humid 100+ degree room. Designed to work every single cell in the body. Detox, De-stress, Lose Weight, Feel Amazing. Our facilities include men's and women's change rooms (both equipped with showers and toilets), and of course, the yoga studio itself-a large heated room with mirrors. There is ample parking in our private lot and street parking on both Franklin St. and 3rd Ave.

Join us for a special Hot Yoga class in loving memory of our founder, Joel Pier.

Before Joel’s ashes are carried to India to be released into the sacred waters of the Ganges River, we’ll gather as a community to honor his life, teachings, and the light he brought to every student who stepped onto their mat.

During this class, we’ll love through the 26 + 2 Hot Yoga sequence guided by Joel’s own voice from a recorded session - his presence fill the room once more.

💛 Donation-based Class
(suggested offerings:: $20 / $40 / $60)

All proceeds will be donated to The Mayapur Temple in West Bengal, India in Joel’s honor.

Joel founded the original Hot Yoga Philadelphia studio and shared his passion for practice, community, and love through Hot Yoga West Reading. His energy and memory continues to inspire us every day.

Let’s come together, breathe, and celebrate the heart and spirit of the man who built the foundation we stand on.

Meet April - Our somatic and flow-style class teacher here at HYWR ✨

✨ April has been practicing yoga for about 23 years and has been a part of the HYWR community for a year.

✨ April’s favorite yoga pose is Triangle pose.

✨ When April is not teaching or on the mat, you can find her spending time with her two cats, her family and wonderful boyfriend. She also enjoys gardening, playing guitar and singing, and riding her road bike or hiking 🥾

✨ Our April is an Aries ♈️

✨ If April could travel anywhere is the world today she would go to Greece 🌍

You can find April on the schedule teaching Somatic Flow every Monday evening at 7PM.
