Try this healthy nutrition hack that morphed banana oatmeal cookies into protein infused “trail run bites”

I add handfuls of milk chocolate chips, raisins... I use raw honey, 1-2 TBSP vanilla extract & 1 scoop of vanilla whey protein powder 💪🏻

I put raw honey, nut butter of choice- (usually peanut butter) & 3 bananas into my Vitamix... Blend until smooth THEN I add blended mixture to large glass Pyrex bowl & stir in protein powder, chocolate chips, raisins...

HOMEMADE Chicken Soup with veggies for the Quarentine SOUL🙏🏻

My substitutions: I sautéed chopped carrots, celery & onion with minced garlic in Celtic Sea Salt & coconut oil.

2 full bags of frozen Bonofide Provisions Chicken Bone Broth brought to a boil... then add all other veggies...
I used frozen organic spinach, squash & zucchini...add carrots, celery, onion...

Seasonings: oregano, parsley, minced garlic, Celtic sea salt & black pepper.

2 Organic Roaster Chickens (already cooked) shred chicken. Add to soup.

Simmer on stove top.

Served with gluten free cornbread.

AND JUST KEEP MOVING FORWARD!

My besties garage gym is better than yours😂WTH it’s better than mine...which is changing soon😉But regardless of our location in the gym or in one of our garage gyms we get our workouts in, we maximize time to work hard, we mix up workouts, we create new HIIT intervals like sprinting the block or incline treadmill lunges that hit the entire lower body & core then pair sets with treadmill 30 second on/off sprints that keep the heart rate fired up💜fun putting together supersets that hit multiple muscle groups while focusing on stability & balance. This morning her sweet daughter joined us for a few rounds 😍💯🙏🏻I love nothing more than sharing my consistency & passion for fitness with young girls who want to be healthy & strong 💞THANKFUL for awesome workout partners who walk the walk & talk the talk... & you both rock! Surround yourself with a tribe that’s not only self motivated but truly understands that busy Mom life fires on all cylinders efficiently when Moms commit to themselves first & then that authenticity, happiness, powerful & bright light not only pushes them forward but touches everyone else around them🌞💪🏻💯😍My kids started their day with triple berry almond milk protein shakes with ground flax & gluten free pancakes & I quickly nuked one of my pre-prepped breakfast scrambles post workout 🏋️‍♀️ And check out my little backyard garden all growing to be chopped into a salad 🥗 🍑😅💫

Happiness is...climbing into bed knowing that I did my best to get us prepared for the week ahead & for my kids to go BACK TO SCHOOL TOMORROW!

Beyond GRATEFUL that these past few weeks we played at the beach a few more times, went to Wild Waters, caught up with friends & I was able to squeeze in some special 1 on 1 shopping excursions for school supplies & uniforms🙏🏻💯

Today...wrote up weekly dinner plans & Joey braved the mega grocery shopping trip that replenished our cupboards, freezer & gathered everyone’s requests for their school lunches, after school & after practice fuel😅

Tonight...prepped for the weeks meals, I always make extra protein (I made lean ground turkey) for two weekly meals, I grilled chicken breasts, sautéed broccoli, roasted sweet potatoes, baked spaghetti squash & restocked freezer with frozen veggies, cauliflower rice, brown rice...precooked chicken & kale that’s quickly reheated & sautéed in coconut oil for healthy after school meals for my pack of middle school girls💞

Truth: #1 My family functions the strongest on this fuel mix; higher in lean protein, moderate naturally gluten free carbohydrate sources & moderate high quality fats #2 Sunday food prep keeps everyone’s anxiety in check. Especially -ME- because healthy fuel keeps my physical strength & mental sanity steady enough to embrace the grind... and let’s face it nothing makes a heart race & thoughts swirl crazy more then hungry kids after school coupled with “Hey, what’s for dinner, Mom” 🤷🏻‍♀️😳😂
