A great way to help stretch and relax the pelvic floor is in child’s pose. You can reach toward one side or the other for some extra low back and side body stretching also. Try breathing into the back or toward one hip to get greater expansion with each breath. Use a pillow for extra support if needed. This is great for anyone, pregnant, postpartum, or otherwise!

Having difficulty creating tension in the core muscles? Try this position-lying on your back with feet up, flat on the wall. Use your breathing to help. Get a big inhale through your lower rib cage and back, then exhale slowly and fully. Create rigidity in the abdomen, without bearing down.
