Every month, we want to highlight a different member of our Waterloo Heights team to help you get to know us better. This month our Staff Spotlight is our incredible dental hygienist Mary Jo!

Mary Jo has been a dental hygienist for 40 years and has been a member of the team at Waterloo Heights Dental for over 30. She was born and raised in La Crosse and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1976. She's received advanced training and certifications in laser dentistry as well as the BaleDoneen Preceptorship. The best part of this job for Mary Jo is helping people. She loves getting to know her patients of all ages and helping them achieve health and wellness. She has witnessed many changes in the dental industry over the last 30 years and loves to see the advancements in treatments and technologies that allow us to provide even better patient care. She truly loves helping people. Mary Jo and her husband, Mike, have three grown children – Joan who is also a dental hygienist, Maggie who is a medical transcriptionist, and Dan who is a mountain enthusiast for Yetti, Inc. In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, traveling, practicing yoga, and working on her singing career with her band, Studebaker 7. She thoroughly enjoys working at Waterloo Heights and embracing new challenges every day.
