My friend and holistic healer is hosting a 6 week program surrounding balance within the body to heal yourself 💥 Read what she has to share below …

“The Conscious Life Edit is a method to help you bring your body back to balance and restore its ability to heal itself naturally. During this program, I guide you through the process of shutting out the noise, evaluating your body to determine what it needs, removing the stressors that are creating imbalance, adding back what your individual body needs and how to continue this practice overtime whenever you feel like you need a little edit. Life, and with that your body, is always changing. This is a framework you can constantly come back to when you feel like your body, mind or spirit needs a shift. You will leave this 6 week program feeling empowered, in control of your health, and ready to move forward confidently.”

Yesterday Rory and I made Christmas tree brownies for some much needed 1:1 time ❤️

I used brownie mix (grain + refined sugar free!) and prepared according to the instructions on the box and added 1 tsp peppermint extract. When they were cool, I cut them into little triangles 🌲 and we frosted them with melted white chocolate mixed with natural green food coloring. Sprinkles for the ornaments (also made with no food dyes) and pretzels for the trunk

They were delicious and a fun and easy activity for a 3 yr old!

There’s a reason why I saved cutting out sugar for Day 8!

Wellness goals are much easier to achieve when we focus on what we are ADDING instead of taking away.

Over the past week we have set a foundation with nutrition (making sure we are eating enough protein, fat, veggies and water) and lifestyle (breathing, exercise and sleep) changes.

By implementing these changes, we are stabilizing our blood sugar, balancing hormones, reducing stress, staying hydrated, consuming a variety of essential nutrients and managing our hunger. This will make cutting out (or down on) sugar so much easier. Aka setting ourselves up for success!

And because we are all human here, swipe for some sweet substitutes when cutting out refined sugar!

Can you go the whole day without any added sugar? Can you go the rest of the week?

Sugar is sneaky! Between being hidden in most packaged foods, “just a little in my coffee” and the little treat here and there, it really adds up. Let’s be mindful of our sugar intake today!

Miss one day of a workout and ya never go back. Likely story right?

Daily movement is so important for our well being. And while high intensity training does have its benefits, it’s not always necessary! And too much can actually be harmful.

The most important thing: do something you enjoy. If you don’t enjoy it, chances are you’ll give up on it.

If time is an issue, there are ways around that! Run around outside with your kids, go for a walk on your lunch break, do some squats while you’re waiting for dinner to cook in the oven, do some push ups right when you wake up in the morning.

I have a hard time getting a workout in on the days I’m home alone all day with the boys. Today I’m going to try to do yoga video with Rory while Graham naps. I’ll let you know how it goes 🤪

Did you move today? Let me know what you did!

New Moon in Sagittarius ♐️

Now is the time to take a leap 🍀, go on an adventure 🗺 , learn something new 📖

Some questions to consider during this new moon 🌚

• if time wasn’t an issue, what would you do ?
• is there anything you’ve been wanting to do but have been holding back for whatever reason?
• what needs to be let go in order to make space for these things in your life?
