If you've tried to meditate and didn't like it, chances are it was because you used a technique that doesn't resonate with you.

There are many ways to meditate - breath awareness, mantra, visualization - to name but a few. Not every technique works with every person. Maybe you aren't able to visualize. Maybe focusing on breath makes you hyperventilate.

Add to this the many "branded" meditation techniques and styles from gurus, influencers, and organizations - many of whom claim their way is "the right way."

Finding your way requires a bit of exploration and recognition that when something isn't working, it's time to try something else.
