📍 West Seneca, NY | 🕐 Full-Time | 💼 On-Site with Potential Hybrid Option
💵 $25.70–$34.61/hour
Vascular Associates of WNY is a high-volume vascular surgery practice with a dedicated Ultrasound Department and Office-Based Lab (OBL). We’re seeking an experienced Medical Billing and Coding Specialist to oversee coding, billing, payment posting, denials/appeals, and accounts receivable management.
This is a key role with the potential for hybrid flexibility for the right candidate who can work independently and efficiently.
What You'll Do:
Assign accurate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes for clinic, ultrasound, and OBL services
Submit claims and manage payment posting and reconciliation
Handle denials, appeals, and collections with precision and follow-through
Maintain timely and accurate accounts receivable
Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure proper documentation and billing compliance
What We're Looking For:
Certification required: CPC, CCS, or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience in medical billing and coding
Strong background in denial management, collections, and A/R
Vascular or surgical coding experience is a plus
Experience with EHR/billing systems (Medent a bonus)
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
