Thank you Senator Borrello for meeting with us and listening to our concerns

I had the pleasure of meeting with professionals from Help Me Grow WNY in my Albany office to discuss their critical work early intervention work. Their dedication to helping children with developmental delays reach key milestones is truly inspiring.

As a board member for a non-profit child care center, I've seen how early intervention can change lives, giving children the support they need to progress, thrive, and reach their full potential. I am grateful for the passion and commitment of those in this field and will continue to support their efforts to strengthen early childhood resources in New York.

Today our agency director, Tami Treutlein, headed to Albany with stakeholders and families from WNY and Lift Off WNY for 'Kids Can't Wait Advocacy Day' in Albany. A huge thank you to Senator Borrello and Sentaor Molitor for taking the time to hear our position on fair wage reimbursement for our therapists as well as looking at study of Early Intervention and adding therapist's to loan forgiveness from these programs

Our founder and CEO had the opportunity to meld her two passions yesterday, advocating for and educating about the families and children we serve and movie theaters. At the annual meetings for National Association of Theater Owners (NATO) she discussed the why, how, and who of sensory movie showings and ways to incorporate communication alternatives into theaters.
