This sums-up a successful person/career/business perfectly. There’s not 1 day that goes by that I’m not “working my business” in some form. I recently hosted an international 4-day conference at the end of June, and I just came off the second weekend in July taking classes and honing my skills.
If a business owner doesn’t invest in themselves and their education, WHY-oh-why would YOU invest in them..?!? 🤔
Education and proper licensing are essentials, not expendables. 💫

06/20/2025:
“Physician heal thyself.”
We’ve all heard the phrase, but have you thought about what it really means?
It means that we *all* need to practice self-care, self-love, self-balance, self-RESToration.
As a bodywork professional who sees 25-35 clients per week, it’s easy for me to absorb other’s energies, including dysfunction and trauma, without realizing I’m doing so ~ until I do realize.
So yesterday I treated myself to a little TLC from Grace Ann Myers-Belote at A Touch of Grace Healing Services, LLC in West Seneca, NY.
When I scheduled Grace asked “What do you need?” and I told her to follow her heart and intuitive wisdom.
My session started with my choosing a variety of essential oils that Grace provided and that ‘called to my soul.’ Then I just relaxed while she energetically moved and re-balanced my energy chakras. It was a hybrid Reiki~Sound Healing~Aromatherapy~
Anicient-Intuitive session; I was able to ‘mentally check-out’ while she worked and the entire experience left me grounded, refreshed, energetically balanced and in blissful peace. ☮️

If it’s been a while since you’ve visited and paid homage to your temple, perhaps consider a session with Grace. I will be rebooking in July because I deserve self-care. 💗

THE COLD HARD TRUTH OF MONEY:

💵 Money, (paper), is made from trees, but it doesn’t grown on trees. 🌳

I’ve always been humbled that people choose me as their massage therapist, and grateful that I’m able to live my life doing what I love. 💗

But that wasn’t always the case. For 17yrs I worked at UB in the medical research field, and I’ve always been hyper-cognizant of a person’s finances; I don’t want to price myself out of WNY’s blue collar community, or have someone not come for needed therapy because my professional services are “too costly.”

That said, I’m proud of managing my business, (and life!), with fiscal responsibility; for the 4th year in a row, in this age of inflation, Great Lakes Therapeutic Massage will NOT BE INCREASING SERVICE RATES. 🎉🎉🎉

You work hard for your money, when you spend it find a practitioner who is not only licensed, credentialed and aware of your needs, but also your finances.💰

More expensive DOES NOT equal better service or better care; it simply means you gave away more of your hard-earned monies.

👩‍🎓 4 degrees, NYS licensed and credentialed, 27 years in business/practice, professional association accredidations, on-going continuing education and yet ~~> NO SERVICE INCREASE, again. 🥳

You decide if I’m worth it. 😊
