Yesterdayโ€™s post was heavy โ€” because life has been heavy.
But I just want to say thank you.

For the prayers. For the messages. For the support.

My sisterโ€™s surgery went well. And in the middle of all of it, I kept thinking about this:

Not just to lift weight.

I havenโ€™t posted all weekend.
And the truth is โ€” Iโ€™ve fallen off. Again.

Not just with social media.

But with showing up for myself. With chasing what I said I wanted.

Iโ€™ve been struggling with the thought that maybe Iโ€™m not cut out for this.
Maybe I donโ€™t have what it takes to succeed.

Maybe I know a lotโ€ฆ but I donโ€™t do enough.

Maybe I can help others โ€” but Iโ€™m afraid to really put myself out there.

Iโ€™ve failed before. That doesnโ€™t scare me.

Maybe itโ€™s the thought of actually succeeding that freaks me out. I honestly donโ€™t know.

But I know thisโ€ฆ

Iโ€™m allergic to giving up.

Iโ€™ve tried before. I canโ€™t do it.

I donโ€™t give in or give up easily โ€” maybe to a fault.

Every time I fall, I get back up.

My dad taught me that.

He always said:
โ€œMatt, itโ€™s not what happens to you โ€” itโ€™s how you deal with it that matters.โ€

Itโ€™s what you do after that defines who you are.

A lot of people might say, โ€œItโ€™s okay, youโ€™ve got a lot going on.โ€

And itโ€™s true. Our family does.

But so do a lot of people.
