May is National Osteoporosis and Prevention Month...Schedule an appointment today with our office to find out your risk and receive treatment. Osteoporosis is a “silent” bone disease that develops when bone mineral density and bone mass decrease leading to a decrease in bone strength. Bones affected by osteoporosis may become so weak that fractures (broken bones) may occur spontaneously or as a result of a minor fall or normal stresses, such as bending, lifting, or coughing.
