He anticipates earning his Fellowship in acupuncture (F.I.A.M.A.) from the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture during the summer of 2016 and an additional certification as a chiropractic sports physician (CCSP) this November by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Connecticut Chiropractic Association, and the National Athletic Trainers Association. When he’s not practicing, Dr. Inlow loves spending time with his wife Heidi and their children Grant (age 13), Liam (age 8) and Genenvieve. He also enjoys camping, riding motorcycles, and woodworking. ABOUT VCSM
At VCSM we strive to offer a wide variety of treatments and modalities to alleviate pain, improve function, and promote overall wellness. From pediatrics to the experienced in age, from athletes to maternity, and whether you suffer from migraines or chronic back pain, we use a holistic approach during evaluations in order to get to the root cause of our patients’ complaints, which are too often overlooked by other physicians. We also attempt to stay current on the most recent research involving our patients’ conditions so any and all options can be discussed and well understood. Our goal is for the physician to determine the most appropriate treatment plan according to the patient’s own values and needs. We understand that chiropractic adjustments (also called chiropractic manipulation), a.k.a. getting your back “cracked,” although extremely effective for many patients, might not be appropriate or desired by you personally. Several other treatment options are available and can be discussed when determining your individualized treatment plan. Treatment plans might include:
Chiropractic Adjustments
Joint Mobilization
Exercise Rehabilitation
Acupuncture
Spinal Flexion-Distraction
Spinal Traction
Pelvic Blocking
Orthotics
Electrical Modalities
Nutritional Counseling and Supplementation
Instrument-assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation
Various Soft Tissue Techniques
Physical Therapy
Massage Therapy
