Introducing our next demo pair!
Rosa Murphy, a senior in high school, has competed through the Prix St. Georges Level. Prior to this season, she competed through the FEI Juniors/Fourth Level on her young horse, Ravinka FLF, and she had the opportunity to compete at regional and national championships with him. After Ravinka FLF unfortunately was injured, Rosa partnered with Hotstuff this past spring. Hotstuff is her first horse with FEI experience. Rosa’s long term-goals are to compete at the Young Rider level with Hotstuff, eventually the U25s, and potentially the senior Grand Prix. Rosa has been training with Tracey Olsen, Kim Litwinczak, and Pam Goodrich.
Hotstuff “Harry” is a 12 year old KWPN (Don Tango X Donati X Lord Leatherdale) who was purchased from the Netherlands this spring. He was imported to the US in May, so the two are still a very new combination. Despite that, the pair has been able to gain show experience this season, as well as attend the Region 8 FEI Youth Clinic with Lilo Fore. They are continuing to enjoy working together and getting to know each other. In the Netherlands, Hotstuff showed successfully through the small tour with his amateur owner and is schooling much of the Grand Prix work.
