Valley View Memorial Park & Funeral Home is not responsible for any decorations that are removed, stolen, or damaged. We highly encourage family and friends to refrain from leaving keepsakes, family heirlooms, or any items of sentimental or monetary value in the park. Valley View is not responsible for lost or stolen items. We will not store any items that have been removed.
Please be aware that shepherd hooks, pinwheels, bird houses, weather vanes, potted plants/flowers, solar lights, hanging baskets, banners, chimes, glass, composite materials or any decorations that are deemed a hinderance to the care of the park, may be re-moved as these items are frequently damaged by lawn mowing equipment, prohibit lawn care, and can become a hazard to park visitors.
Permanently attaching any items to headstones and benches is not allowed unless expressly authorized by the cemetery. Fencing, rocks, glass, marble, wood chips, or any other boarders around plots are strictly prohibited. Trenching around plots is not allowed as it encourages weeds and is a tripping hazard. The planting of flowers, shrubs, and trees is not permitted without authorization.
Picnicking, barbequing, partying, playing games, sports, throwing balls, frisbees, or other objects is strictly prohibited. Consuming alcohol and/or drugs is not permitted. The firing of guns or the lighting of fireworks is prohibited.
Valley View Memorial Park & Funeral Home reserves the right to change or cancel cleanup dates when necessary, in accordance with Cemetery Policies and Procedures.
For the complete Cemetery Policies and Procedures, please visit the Funeral Home business office to pick up a copy.
