We deliver day and residential services to enrich the lives of people with disabilities by providing opportunities for independence and growth

For over 65 years, Ability Inclusion Services has been enriching the lives of people with disabilities by actively providing community opportunities for independence and individual growth. Our organization was founded in 1958 by a group of parents who saw the importance of educational and social opportunities for their children with disabilities. When public education for all children was mandated

in 1975, our focus shifted to assisting adults with disabilities. Throughout the 70’s and 80’s, services grew to support a wider variety of needs. Residential Services were started to address the needs of individuals that needed support to live on their own, then additional day services were opened in the 90’s so participants could have community and sensory experiences. Transportation was later introduced in the 2000’s and has since expanded to a fleet of a dozen accessible vehicles to meet the diverse needs of the population we serve. Today our organization is one of Utah’s most vibrant disability communities, providing an invaluable resource for participants and their families.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Memorial Day is a time for reflection, gratitude, and remembering the sacrifices that have shaped the freedoms we enjoy today.

As many gather with loved ones this weekend, may we all take a moment to reflect, remember, and appreciate those who are no longer with us.

Our Under the Sea Prom was truly a night to remember!

Together with Neighborhood House and Columbus Community Center, our three disability organizations came together to create a spectacular evening filled with fun, laughter, connection, and unforgettable memories for the people we support.

Guests enjoyed an evening of dinner, dancing, photos, and pampering. Our Ladies Lounge was buzzing with hair styling, makeup, nails, and smiles, while the Gentleman’s Lounge treated the fellas to hot towels, hand massages, and a little extra relaxation before the dance floor opened up. Our talented art department transformed the space with incredible Under the Sea decorations that truly brought the theme to life.

A heartfelt thank you to Karen Halladay’s Crew for the beautiful corsages and swag bags, PACS for sponsoring the event, and all of the amazing volunteers who helped make the evening so special.
The goal was simple: make memories and celebrate together. Mission accomplished.

Today we celebrate the love, patience, strength, and support mothers bring into the lives of those around them every single day. We are especially grateful for the many moms in the disability community who advocate, encourage independence, create opportunities, and help their loved ones shine in their own unique ways.

Last night’s Spring Fling Gala was nothing short of incredible. What an unforgettable evening filled with connection, generosity, and so much heart.

We are deeply grateful to our donors, sponsors, volunteers, Board of Directors, our dedicated leadership team, and every single attendee who made the night so special. A heartfelt thank you to Utah Cultural Celebration Center for hosting us in such a beautiful space. We absolutely loved our new location and the energy it brought to the evening.

A special shoutout to our incredible valet team, Foraco Corp, who braved the freezing cold to keep things running smoothly, truly going above and beyond for our guests. We are also so thankful for our inspiring keynote speaker, Joe Stone, whose message left a lasting impact, and to Jim Spiewak for bringing energy, humor, and heart as our emcee.

Because of this amazing community, meaningful opportunities for individuals with disabilities continue to grow and thrive. That is something worth celebrating.
