Meet Brett Rosenberg, Senior Faculty Manager in the Education department. Brett joined AAPC in December 2017, originally coming onboard through TCI prior to its merger with AAPC. He began his career as an Editorial Content Developer and transitioned to the Education department five years ago. Today, he serves as Senior Faculty Manager for AAPC’s Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) Department, where he supports faculty and educational delivery efforts.

Originally from Rochester, New York, Brett is married and a proud father to two sons, ages three years and one month.

Outside of work, Brett spends his creative time producing electronic music in his home studio, specializing in the chillwave genre. He also enjoys tennis, is gradually warming up to pickleball, and follows the Miami Dolphins.

We’re pleased to have Brett's experience and creativity as part of the AAPC team and appreciate the contributions he continues to make across our educational programs.

CMS has updated the MOON and ABN forms to make them easier for patients to understand. The new MOON form must be used by April 21, 2026, for Medicare patients who have been in observation for 24 hours or more. It lets patients know they are considered outpatients, how billing works under Part B, and how observation status could affect skilled nursing facility coverage.
