The FY 2026 ICD-10-PCS update brings 156 new, one revised, and 27 deleted codes—important updates for inpatient coders and CDI professionals. Notably, 90 of the new codes are in the New Technology section, reflecting ongoing innovation in medical procedures. Two new tables have also been added: XDJ (Inspection of the Gastrointestinal System) and XHH (Insertions in Skin, Breast, Subcutaneous Tissue, and Fascia).
