HHS has announced a fourth temporary extension of the COVID-era telemedicine waiver, keeping these flexibilities in place through December 31, 2026. CMS announced 80 new ICD-10-PCS procedure codes, effective April 1, 2026, in addition to the 156 codes implemented Oct. 1. The updates include new cardiovascular, digestive system, genitourinary, wound management, and circulatory system procedures.
