***** BEAR SIGHTING IN ARCTIC AREA *******

There have been numerous calls regarding the sighting of a Black Bear in the area behind Arctic (Pond St, Archambault Ave, etc) along with Fairview Ave and Wakefield St. DEM has been notified and is aware of the situation. They advised to just leave the Bear alone and let it move about. It is most likely looking for food, so please keep your outside garbage bins closed. There is no need to call in a sighting, but if you believe the Bear is a threat, again stay away and call us at 821-4323 prompt zero for dispatch.
