To Celebrate Staff Appreciation week
Dr. McGarry arranged a private snuggle fest at Safari Farm Petting Zoo!
The staff was able to hit the road and get up close and personal to the sweetest (and some naughty) animals! Kangaroos, camels, coatis, snakes, zebras, donkeys, piggies, goats, skunk, birds, porcupines, and armadillo, oh my!

Thank you to Lynn for letting these animal loving gals get up close and personal with all of the animals (especially personal with the Coatis! 😂)

Thanks to our clients for understanding the brief disruption of our schedule to let us enjoy spending time with the animals and each other!

Remember to keep your pets inside in air conditioning as much as possible the next few days! 🔥 🔥 🔥

We recommend only short walks to go potty and avoiding concrete and asphalt to prevent thermal burns on their paws and overheating, which can happen very quickly with these temperatures! 🥵 🐾

Brachycephalic breeds (ie: bulldogs, pugs, shih tzu, boxers) are highly susceptible to heat stroke so their time outside should be even more limited.

Stay cool everyone!

Pet Owners Beware...This type of heat can lead to paw burns in just 1 minute for a dog walking on pavement, and about 5 minutes on the sidewalk. Hydration is very important for pets and humans alike, but the hot surfaces are another concern.

Due to unexpected staffing changes the office is closing it a bit earlier than normal today.
