Northstar Psychological Services, PLC Northstar Psychological Services, PLC is the private psychological practice of Dr. Molly Daniel in West Des Moines, IA. Welcome! Private pay is also offered.

Northstar Psychological Services offers formal psychological testing for children and adolescents ages 6 and older. It is typically a three part process (initial session, face-to-face testing sessions, and analysis/report writing by Dr. Daniel). We first meet for an initial session that is about an hour, which is for getting acquainted, gathering history, and planning for testing. We can usually s

chedule the testing sessions at the end of that first appointment. The number of testing sessions typically ranges from 1-3 sessions that are usually about 90 minutes to 2 hours each. After all testing is completed, Dr. Daniel analyzes and integrates the data and creates a comprehensive report that you receive back in the weeks following. Once seen for an initial session, testing sessions usually take place in the weeks to month following the initial appointment. Dr. Daniel usually estimates approximately 6 weeks to complete the full report once all testing is completed. Dr. Daniel takes Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Midlands Choice (which includes Cigna and some Health Partner plans).
