Heidi Bradley, a psychiatric nurse practitioner with Integrated Telehealth Partners, recently spoke with Dustin Hoffmann at Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network about the mental health challenges farmers face. Bradley explained that uncertainty is one of the biggest anxiety drivers for producers, especially when many of the factors affecting their operations remain outside their control. While farmers are known for their resilience and independence, that same mindset can sometimes make it harder to recognize when additional support is needed.

Doug Wagner, morning show host on WOC and WMT, in Iowa spoke with Darcy Wiebrand, an ITP therapist, this morning about the importance of mental health services for veterans. Wiebrand, a veteran herself, explained how veterans are often reluctant to seek out mental health services, but once they do, their lives change for the better.

ITP therapist Darcy Wiebrand, LICSW, spoke with Iowa News Now (CBS) about the importance of mental health for veterans. Wiebrand, who served in the Army for 21 years, said, "Not every veteran wants to go to the VA. Not every veteran is qualified to go to the VA. They're still coming away from their experience with some of the same issues that might be facing somebody who is qualified to go to the VA."
