If you've stopped drinking, have cut back substantially—or are considering either of those options—know you're not alone.

Lots of individuals are making changes, and really listening to what is best/better for their bodies, mental health & overall well-bring.

More people are recognizing there are coping tools & techniques outside of alcohol, that will ultimately serve them so much more.

I will always celebrate when people honor what they really need, what empowers them, and what brings them more joy & health versus a quick fix or "just doing what we've always done".

Enjoy that beer or glass of wine, or don't. Either way, you deserve to feel the best you can. 💖

“A dysregulated nervous system doesn’t tell the truth.”
Someone shared this with me the other day, and it still has impact.

A dysregulated nervous system is primed for danger-and thinking based in fear-when there may actually be no true threat from moment to moment.

Finding calm—and the ability to think clearly— can be a tall order in a world that often prefers we stay scared, distracted & discontented.

One of the most powerful—even Revolutionary—things you can do is step back.
Notice.
Take a breath.
And engage in things that help you regulate.

Observing your own behavior and reactions is a great first step to achieving a deeper sense of grounded safety and wellbeing.

"May is Mental Health Awareness month, and to celebrate and honor that, I am partnering with Kristine Lindell of Linden Tree Healing & Therapy PLLC to offer a Half-day Nature Retreat at Walnut Woods State Park in honor of Mental Health Awareness month on Friday, May 2nd from 9am - 12:30pm.

Our intended retreat audience is Mental Health professionals and individuals who identify as caregivers in their professional and/or personal lives. Caregivers give SO much. This retreat is a gentle invitation to receive.
For mental health professionals and caregivers, we will offer you a space where the weight of compassion fatigue can be eased and your inner strength renewed. Immerse yourself in the healing embrace of guided forest therapy, the soothing vibrations of sound healing, the tranquil focus of Reiki-inspired mindfulness, and the grounding power of personal reflection and shared connection. We will share a forest-based tea ceremony with light snacks to close the day.

Hey Everyone! I have some amazing workshop & retreat opportunities coming up in the next few months!!

They will encourage you to get out of the house, get into the sunshine ☀️and connect with yourself and the Earth to relax, restore, heal and maybe even have some fun 😄.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and all through summer my collaborators and I will be offering opportunities to carve out time for healing, relaxation and restoration in and with Nature.

One year down, and many more to come!

Thank you to all the superheroes in my life: my colleagues, family, friends and ESPECIALLY the clients & amazing humans who walk through my doors on the daily.
Thank you for showing up just as you are, determined to flourish & willing to do the often hard work of healing. You inspire me.
