🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

Today, we honor the survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and stand with those still fighting.

Breast cancer awareness is vital for everyone, especially senior citizens:

🫱🏼‍🫲🏼Nearly 40% of newly diagnosed breast cancer cases are in women 65 or older
🫱🏼‍🫲🏼About 1 in 5 cases occur in women over 75
🫱🏼‍🫲🏼Half of all breast cancer deaths occur in this age group
🫱🏼‍🫲🏼Age is one of the strongest risk factors for developing breast cancer
🫱🏼‍🫲🏼Early detection and regular screenings are essential, no matter your age

Let’s continue spreading awareness, supporting research, and encouraging proactive health for women of all ages. 💗
