We are celebrating the one year work "aniversario" of Patty, another one of our schedulers! Here is what Patty said when asked what she likes about working at IVHCare:

"Being part of this clinic has been incredibly fulfilling. Seeing the difference we make in our patients' lives and working with such a caring team makes even the busiest days so rewarding!"

A fun fact about Patty is that she lived in Ecuador for many years and never saw squirrels on the street. Now that she is in the U.S., she sees them everywhere and still gets excited every time she sees one!

A hearty "thanks!" to Joe and Wendy for their years of service to the Board of Directors at InnerVisions!

Both have served the Board in various capacities, including Board Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary; they both were on the board when we expanded and opened InnerVisions South, too!

So much great work, and our mission is stronger today because of Joe and Wendy!

Happy 1st Anniversary to nurse Ange! Here is what Ange says about her experience so far at IVHC:

"I love that every single staff member and volunteer sees this as a life mission, not a job. They truly, truly care about the well-being of the women we serve, and consider it an honor to serve them well."

A fun fact about Ange... She is the biggest fan of the IOWA STATE FAIR that you will ever meet! She has never missed a year in her entire life. Family and friends travel from out of state to attend with her and to see it through her eyes!

Happy 5th Work Anniversary to our scheduler, Joleen! Here is what Joleen has to say about her job at IVHC:

A fun fact about Joleen... She and her husband have 4 grown boys, 4 grandchildren and even after her 60th birthday, she can still do a pretty solid cartwheel!!

We are so grateful to the many people who helped make Christmas extra special for 6 of our patients and their families. Joanna helped organize Christmas giving from Saint Augustin Parish and the 6th grade class at Strong Roots Christian School gathered gifts from the middle school and high school families for one patient's family.

One recipient said, "I am in absolute tears over all these wonderful gifts! I can't thank you enough. This is such a wonderful blessing! I hope you guys have an amazing holiday as well. This was a tremendous relief during this challenging pregnancy."

God is so good and we are so blessed to be a blessing to others!

Our very own Sarah and her son Isaiah were featured on the Heartbeat International Thanksgiving card. Sarah reversed the abortion pill she took 7 years ago and chose life. Isaiah is a walking testimony to the life-changing work of InnerVisions.

Seven years ago, Sarah succumbed to the pressures surrounding her and took the first abortion pill thinking it would solve her problems. Immediately, she felt regret and thankfully found the Abortion Pill Rescue Network.

“I wanted to try whatever I could to reverse the worst decision I had made.”

Today, we celebrate the holiday season alongside Sarah and Isaiah. His life is a beautiful reminder that one courageous choice can have a lasting impact on future generations.
