No matter the struggles, I am here to support you and help you identify patterns that are not working for you and to help you grow in the areas that we identify. By asking for help, you have taken the first and most difficult step to feeling better. Christian counseling can provide a safe environment where you can share your fears and frustrations without judgement. It's a place where you can learn to understand your own wants and needs.

Dr. Darlene Turner founded the Christian Counseling Center, Inc., in 2006 in West Des Moines, Iowa. She has counseling experience with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. She has also spoken at Christian marriage conferences, women's conferences, and to general audiences on the topics of health, marriage relationships, family relationships, and encouragement for women. In addition to being a counselor, she has presented at Christian Marriage Conferences, Women's Conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of Marriage Relationships, Family Relationships, and Encouragement for Women. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Therapists and is ordained to minister the gospel. She has her masters in Social Work and a doctorate in Nouthetic Counseling.
