Time to dust off the bikes, get outside… and maybe regret it immediately.

Because spring movement isn’t always relaxing solo walks.

• Carrying bikes your kids “totally wanted to ride”

We’re excited to introduce Abby Christensen, PT as she joins our North Liberty clinic.

Abby’s passion for physical therapy began as a competitive gymnast, where working with her own PT inspired her to pursue the profession. She loves building real relationships with clients and making sure everyone who walks through our doors feels truly heard, supported, and confident in their body.

Outside the clinic, Abby enjoys time with her husband and their French bulldog, reading romance novels, and teaching hot yoga and Pilates at local studios.

This little habit can seem like no big deal, despite being annoying, but it's actually really important to talk about.

Like, right away.

Straining, or sitting for long periods on the toilet, can affect your pelvic floor, bladder, and even your posture.

Here's what we suggest:

🚽Check your seat. Grab a small stool to get your butt in alignment (literally).
📱Ditch your phone. No more sit and scroll.
💧Drink plenty of water. Small sips throughout the day.
🚶‍♀️Practice intentional movement. We're big fans of a daily walk!
🥦Gradually increase your fiber.
