Eating clean isn't enough.

Eating whole foods is great but it's not enough to help your digestion *heal* the core reasons you are still bloated all the time and afraid to eat certain foods.

You can't keep eating the same *clean* foods and expect your gut to suddenly be all fixed.

Your digestion needs a vacation. It's waiting on you every single day to put the right foods in in the right order the ways it's easy for it to receive, but you keep giving it the same whole foods on repeat, maybe a gut healing supplement here or there, but it's not helping.

This isn't because the foods you eat aren't whole, or good enough, because they mostly* are, you simply don't see the consequences of how what you are eating is causing more difficulty for your digestion instead of helping it like you want to be.

It's not healing because you're not catering to it's highest need right now, foods that are both calming and soothing and easy to digest.

You want to be healthy, you buy healthy options, you cook, you take time to make sure you are giving your body the best you know to give it, but you're still stuck in the process of *trying* to heal your gut instead of oh yeah remember when I had gut issues, I'm so glad I'm super healthy now and never bloated.

Your diet isn't a gut healing protocol, this is why:

You’re focused on what you think are gut healing foods, not what your body NEEDS to be able to heal itself.

Your diet isn't digestively healthy.

Your gut doesn't want kefir, kombucha or collagen. In fact, these things are causing your digestion to get worse.

Your body needs foods that are a match to health, that are specific to digestion and don't ask it to work harder than it already is having to.

It wants you to simplify and stop overcomplicating things.

You're listening to too many 'gut health experts' and don't really know exactly what to do.

You need to eliminate every single food that makes digestion harder, and pour in all of them that make it easier.

This is the work I do with my clients in Trust Your Gut.

That's your move.

And yes it takes a few weeks of intentional eating...so that you are FREE of this for life.

Nope.

You're not getting pregnant because of the reason your thyroid isn't automatically healthy.

Even though this ☝️☝️☝️ is true, your body is a SYSTEM.

One part isn't separate from any other.

In order to establish fertility, you are restoring vibrant health to your organs, to each of them and how they communicate with each other.

Also NEVER believe that there's something you cannot work with your body to move through.

Your thyroid will be healthy when your system is healthy.

Your body will be fertile when there's more energy flowing vs stagnant. When your body has energy for increasing health vs. fighting disease.

Everything is always connected.

Your bloating is 100% stopping you from losing the 10-15 pounds you want gone yesterday.

Even with a diet filled with vegetables and whole foods and clean eating, when you have bloating that comes on strong and is *so painful and annoying* or is that low grade constant all the time kind of bloating, your food is not allowing your gut to heal.

The foods you are eating are fine, but they aren't getting the job done.

Why?

Your gut needs a RESET.

This means, a way of eating that helps to soothe the digestive system as a whole, and time without having to work so hard to break down and process what you're eating now.

When digestion is off, there's no movement. The system that is meant to take food in, use it for good, and then eliminate isn't doing that.

It's stagnant which means: No Flow.

When there's no flow, there's a hold up in elimination and that is exactly where weight loss happens.

When you address the root of the gut issues, and give your body the foods that allow true healing for long enough, you will go from:

Working on healing your gut to

Having a healthy gut

Where you eat the foods you love, you eat healthy foods AND you can have a social life, you won't ever have to worry about something triggering you and making you feel four months pregnant just because you ate dinner or had girls night.

Just like my client G who was so frustrated because even though she was vegan, she couldn't even have a beer with her partner without feeling bloated, puffy and awful.

Once she started to eat to allow her gut to heal and took out the trigger foods, her digestion came back to life, she had way more energy and dropped 7 pounds (she didn't even tell me she wanted to lose weight) and she could see her abs again.

You don't have to be on a 'gut healing protocol' forever, but you have to make the time to get your digestion strong, efficient and fast again and then, the weight will come off, because you've cleared the exact path that it needs to come off through.

Awhile ago I bought this gluten free sourdough bread (online). I thought it was 'healthier' and better for Dalton, and the rest of us.

Well, first of all:

*It's brown and looks like sandwich bread

and second:

*IT DOESN'T TASTE GOOD* ☹️😉😫

Following a clean diet, and changing it after going through fertility treatments made me SUCH a believer in eating real foods, and the right foods and all the right ingredients.

But there's also you in the picture, and do you even WANT to eat this piece of lame wanna be sourdough?

I don't think so.

There's such a thing as 'too perfect' when it comes to food, because it's waving a big red flag called:

You don't trust yourself, your body or that you are the one in charge of all of this.

Now listen I'm never going to say go eat doritos and fast food because I just can't get behind that.

But intentions matter.

I see all of you "i make my own sourdough bread" ladies and yay good for you, I'll buy some if you want to make it for me, or I'll buy my European kind from Whole Foods when it's in stock.

You get to eat what you WANT.

Yes healthy.
Yes healthy swaps.
Yes things you want that are not healthy ....

when you know you can.

So do you know that?

So many people that follow me already eat a really clean diet, but still have bloating, gut issues, low energy, or fertility issues.

Do I put you right on track with cleaning this up so that your body gets what it needs?

When you stop trying to make carbs or other foods into protein you will automatically get healthier and start losing weight.

Your body runs on carbs.

The way you morph a cup of ice pumpkin coffee into a 'high protein' weight loss food makes it a non weight loss food.

Not trusting the foods your body is telling you to eat is why you aren't losing the weight you want.

Your body is always communicating with you. Those foods that you want to eat are the very foods that would speed up your weight loss.

I'm not talking about cookies and cupcakes and gobs of peanut butter. I'm talking about the foods that you tell yourself you have to limit because they add up to too many calories or are too many carbs.

Your mind is the problem. ✨

Your body is the solution. 💥

Today I had a client who told me she was craving oranges and I told her to eat as many of them as she wanted.

She sort of laughed but I was dead serious.

Fruit is not a problem.

Not only that, oranges are part of the recipe of specific foods that would go to the root of other health issues and symptoms she was having.

Her body knew how to regain health and weight loss at the very same time.

Her mind was stopping her because she was wired to think about food through calories in and out.

When you start trusting your body and the messages its giving you, you fast track your weight loss.

And...when you know exactly what foods to eat and focus on and how to do that for your own body, health, symptoms and energy, you learn a lot faster.
