When you’re doing deep somatic work especially trauma release the body is busy.
Your nervous system is shifting gears, muscles are letting go of long-held tension, and your energy is reorganizing.
That process takes a lot from you physically, mentally, and emotionally.
🍛Food becomes more than just a meal. It’s part of the integration process.
At Reconnect Retreats we focus on:
🥬 Leafy greens to provide magnesium and support your nervous system.
🍚 Whole grains like quinoa and buckwheat for steady energy and B-vitamins.
🌰 Healthy fats from seeds, nuts, and omega-rich sources to calm inflammation and nourish the brain.
🫘Protein from both plant and animal sources to help repair and sustain the body.
🍎Seasonal vegetables and fruits for antioxidants and immune support.

🌮 We offer wholesome, balanced meals and it doesn’t matter if you’re vegan, vegetarian, or prefer animal protein, all are welcome at our table!

Our private chef Irene works closely with Veronica to create a delicious, nourishing menu that supports your retreat journey. Irene is not only a skilled cook but also a trauma-informed social worker, bringing extra care and understanding to every plate she serves.
