The Role of Qi in Spring 🌱🍃🌿
In TCM, every season corresponds to an elemental force and an organ system. Spring is linked with the Wood element and the Liver, emphasizing creativity, growth, and new beginnings. However an overactive Liver can lead to pent-up energy, irritability, anxiety, or anger.

Practices that can assist you with balancing your Liver during this Spring season may include:

• Eating more gently cooked leafy green and bitter foods like Endive, Collards, Raddichio, Kale

• Receiving regular Acupuncture or TCM Herbs to regulate and harmonize your body, mind, and spirit

• Self care can include acupressure on points such as PC-6, Yin Tang, and GV-20 (reference photos in the slides) while taking deep breaths

• Making some time to be in nature, whether it be a forest, a park, or simply inviting a new plant into your space
