INSANELY HEALTHY PANCAKES!

Happy Sunday everyone! Who doesn’t want pancakes on the weekend?! Here is (one of) my version below …

1 cup quick oats
1/4 cup ground flax
1 scoop vanilla protein isolate (or powder of choice)
3 eggs - 3 egg whites
1 banana
6 dates
1 tbsp moringa powder
1 tbsp tamarind paste
1/2 tsp Ceylon cinnamon
1 tsp aluminum free baking soda
1 tsp Himalayan salt

~Use organic ingredients wherever possible~

Allow eggs to come to room temperature and put in blender. Boil 1/4 cup of water and dissolve/soften dates and tamarind. Add to blender with remaining ingredients. Blend till smooth. Cook over medium heat in a little coconut oil.

These freeze perfectly so you can make a large batch. I have one daily topped with nut butter and a little Manuka honey.

Makes 6 large or 8 small servings.

These taste delicious and they are a nutrition powerhouse to supercharge energy and help you slay your day !!!

ALKALINE VS ACIDIC FOODS…

Disease can only exists in an acidic environment. If your body has a perfectly balanced ph it is impossible to become sick. Creating that perfect balance would require a chemistry degree, a lab and a lot of effort but read below for what you can do.

If body pH is less than 7.35, the body is in a state of "acidosis."

If body pH is more than 7.45, the body is in "alkalosis" or "basic."

The pH range is from zero to 14, with zero being the most acidic, 14 being the most basic, and seven being neutral. In healthy humans, normal body pH is between 7.35 and 7.45, with an average of 7.4.

Eating more foods that are alkaline will balance out the acidic foods that make up the majority, if not all, of the North American diet. The more you consume the healthier you will be. It is that simple. It becomes exceedingly clear why so many people are unhealthy in our society. Meat, sugar, wheat, wine, soda and salt are all extremely acidic. Organic leafy greens, herbs, bell peppers, celery and cucumbers are highly alkaline. You can easily understand that the addition of these foods are like the antidotes for the poisons we love.

This is why food literally is medicine!
