A regulated nervous system allows us to experience the full range of emotions. When we’re regulated, we can show up more fully—for challenges, for change, and for hard moments.
I’ve written about how we can embody joy, connection and purpose even in the midst of global conflicts and ecocide here:

Do you ever feel caught in inner conflict?
Being an imperfect human means we’re full of contradictions. To find a voice you truly trust—one that feels authentic—you first have to listen to all parts of yourself: the fearful, the angry, the neglected...
I’ve created a self-paced journal prompts in my free workbook to help you start this inner exploration.

How do we connect with a more aligned version of ourselves—where the power of our mind and the wisdom of our body work together to create change?
I’ve written about ways to cultivate inner listening through a somatic approach.

Sometimes our thoughts feel like a constant loop, even in therapy. Stepping back and noticing them isn’t easy—but it’s a practice that can create space around beliefs and ideas.
Learning to pause, even for a moment, can help you settle, breathe, and get more from your session.

Sometimes, we are not sure where to begin... We don't exist in a vacuum. Self-care and self-help can only bring you to certain level of resource, but to actually process we all need support. We need our experience witnessed. I wrote a guide to finding the right therapist/guide here:

Often, our emotions are actually experienced as reactions, sometimes unproductive or even destructive. Learning to tolerate these experiences, and the needs they reveal, can be some of the most rewarding work of life.

About Me

I want to create a culture that is tuned into the wonderment and joy of the body. My business both caters to celebrating events dedicated to delivering memorable experiences to honour your life’s biggest events, milestones or even just to sprinkle connection and excitement to your weekend. I also offer training and workshops in self-care through nourishing and mindful movement workshops. I am passionate about teaching belly dance to all levels and experiences. I strive to create accessible spaces both physically and emotionally so participants can and feel comfortable in their own skin and activate the joy of movement. In my teaching I focus on beyond "getting the moves right", but strive in supporting how movement can increase confidence, build community, embrace sensuality and develop new skills.
