The Ontario section of the Orthopaedic Division's mandate is to support and facilitate the education and development of physiotherapists in Ontario. The unit is responsible for the organization of the syllabus courses in Ontario as well as promoting the advancement of orthopaedic physiotherapy in Ontario.

We had a great time yesterday hosting the “Social Shoulder” for second year !

We talked about and practiced some key components around assessment, treatment and return to sport, and applied them to some fun clinical cases.

This year, we will be running a second Craniofacial Therapy Academy (CRAFTA) Foundations course in Ontario!

CRAFTA is an education program that looks at the diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular, craniomandibular, and craniofacial problems. A few of the clinical patterns covered in the course include TMJ, whiplash, and vestibular dysfunction.

CRAFTA Foundations includes the CRAFTA-1, CRAFTA-2 and Online Module courses, starting June 1, 2023.

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting the first ever Craniofacial Therapy Academy® (CRAFTA®) Foundations course in Ontario!

CRAFTA® is an education program that uses an interdisciplinary and patient-centred approach to address the diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular, craniomandibular, and craniofacial problems, including headaches and facial pain. A few of the clinical patterns covered in the course (among others) include TMJ, whiplash and vestibular dysfunction.

CRAFTA® Foundations includes the CRAFTA-1, CRAFTA-2 and Online Module courses, running from April-June 2020.
