In a series of studies by French researchers, the patients of doctors using homeopathy were compared to those seeing conventional physicians.
For upper respiratory infections, musculoskeletal diseases, sleep disorders, and anxiety and depression, the homeopathic doctors prescribed far fewer antibiotics, psychotropic drugs, and pain medications with similar or better outcomes in their patients.
They also incurred twenty percent less total cost of treatment, of particular value to the healthcare system.
