✨POSITIVE AFFIRMATION:
I am healthy, I am resilient, and I am strong.

✨SLEEP: 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep

✨HYDRATION: 3-4litres of water daily

✨MINDFUL EATING - I didn’t over eat.

✨EAT THE RAINBOW: Consumed at least 8 different colours of fruits and vegetables.

✨MOVED MY BODY for at least 30min today as intentional exercise.

✨BREATH WORK: Practiced at least 5 min of slow, mindful, belly breathing today.

✨Avoided snacking on refined and high sugar foods

✨Took my supplements today on schedule

✨MEDITATION: My capability is not my worth.

✨GRATITUDE: Reflected on at least 1 thing I am grateful for today.

✨I have spoken about the benefits of deep, slow breathing as a way to hack into our central nervous system.

💫Another evidence-based way is called tapping or Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).

🙏🏻 soulfulsprout did an incredible job a sharing how tapping on specific points on acupuncture meridians can promote feelings of relaxation and calm.

This is something you can do at any time even when you are in the middle of the stressful situation.

🤍Here are the 9 main points you tap and the corresponding acupuncture meridian. Tap each following point seven times, moving down the body in this ascending order

✌🏻karate chop: small intestine meridian
✌🏻top of head: governing vessel
✌🏻Above eyebrow: bladder meridian
✌🏻side of the eye: gallbladder meridian
✌🏻under the eye: stomach meridian
✌🏻under the nose: governing vessel
✌🏻chin: central vessel
✌🏻beginning of the collarbone: kidney meridian
✌🏻under the arm : spleen meridian

Say an intention or affirmation out-loud while doing this. That’s it! It takes only a few minutes.

Research has also proven its beneficial effects in depression, anxiety and PTSD ( PMID: 26894319, PMID: 27843054, PMID: 2788944)

In the case of depression tapping was able to reduce symptoms on average by -41% across all studied in the met-analysis.
