Hello yoga lovers and loves
Let’s talk a bit about Yoga Philosophy
Satya
Satya (truthfulness), the second of the five yamas (restraints from negative behaviours) described in the Yoga Sutra, guides us to think, speak, and act with integrity.
Satya is clear as the sun light and is not a personal concept that will serve us when it’s convenient only.
Satya helps us to look into truthfulness and open the heart to deal and accept losses in life, for example
Also, the most important of all truths: are we lying to ourselves?
Sometimes we lie to ourselves to endure pain, and that lie expands around us. I understand; but try to slowly get in touch to what is really happening in your life. Facing and going through it, is the only way out of it. 💕
Satya can be intense as the sunlight, if our eyes were closed for a long time, it might feel painful. Tap into it slowly and sweetly.
The truth can also be really sweet and yes, it does set us free.
The first step into practicing Satya is asking ourselves if we’ve been lying to ourselves in order to endure pain or loss.
That can create long lasting pain and imbalances
Start to slowly meditate about letting go of the self little and big lies. And it’s gonna feel easier and easier to detach from all untrue concepts that we tell ourselves and others to cope with pain.
Because we have abundance of sunlight now, and still moon light, it’s a great moment to include Satya in your reflections and yoga practice meditations
Namaste ✨
